The home side continued their good run of late with another point but the visitors started well with Shay McLaughlin breaking on the left but Liam McGonigle advancing to smother at his feet. In a similar incident Jack McDaid raced clear but again McGonigle saved at the edge of the area. Cockhill lost Ronan McLaughlin (pictured) with an injury just before the break. On 53 minutes Michael Owen Doherty header came off the bar before he headed the rebound over for the visitors. The home side well marshalled by Kevin Harkin and Eoin McLaughlin restricted the visitors to few chances. The home side had a good late chance when David McGonigle got on the end of a Pearse McCarron cross but his effort lacked power.
